Pressure drop studies in bubble columns
The effect of sparger design on dry and wet plate pressure drop was investigated in 0.2 and 0.385 m i.d. bubble columns. Perforated plates were used as spargers. The effect of the gas chamber volume on the plate performance was also studied.

Trace Ru‐Doped PtCuRu@PtRu Core‐Shell Electrocatalyst for CO‐Resilient Methanol Oxidation
We engineered a trace Ru‐doped PtCuRu@PtRu core‐shell nanostructure. This design exploits lattice mismatch‐induced compressive strain between the PtCuRu ternary core and trace Ru‐doped Pt‐rich shell, systematically downshifting the Pt d‐band center to weaken *CO adsorption energetics.

To overcome two‐dimensional modulation bottlenecks, Hadamard Matrix Slicing Single‐Pixel Imaging (HMS‐SPI) establishes an efficient one‐dimensional imaging paradigm. By slicing the traditional Hadamard matrix into one‐dimensional encoding vectors and spatially expanding them, the required measurement patterns decrease by a factor of N.

V2CTx MXene as a Sacrificial Promoter for NiFe Catalyst for Anion Exchange Membrane Electrolyzers
These findings demonstrate that V2CTx functions beyond passive conductive support as an active electronic participant whose structural legacy sustains durable performance even after vanadium leaching in Anion Exchange Membrane (AEM) Electrolysers. ABSTRACT Nickel‐iron layered double hydroxides (NiFe‐LDH) show excellent activity, their poor conductivity

Modeling of co-current and counter-current bubble columns with an extended EMMS approach
Bubble columns can be operated in semi-batch, co-current or counter-current mode. This study attempts to extend the dual-bubble-size (DBS) model, viz., the energy-minimization multi-scale (EMMS) model for gas-liquid systems, to co-current and counter ...

An Embodied Paper‐Based Microfluidic Al‐Air Battery for Enduring Untethered Insect‐Scale Robots
This work presents a centimeter‐scale microfluidic aluminum–air battery (MFAAB) with dual‐surface anode and F−‐mediated byproduct decomposition. The design enables a high capacity of 2697.05 mAh/g Al and delivers tens of milliwatts to power LEDs, motors, and a toy car.

Mass transfer models for oxygen-water co-current flow in vertical bubble columns
The present work reports a theoretical and experimental study of mass transfer for oxygen-water co-current flow in vertical bubble columns. The axial dispersion of liquid phase was also studied.

The aptamer WHY‐3E identifies PrPC as a CRC driver. Stabilized by USP18, endocytosed PrPC forms a LYN/STAT3 complex, upregulating MSN transcription to promote metastasis. Crucially, WHY‐3E sensitively detects PrPC‐positive circulating exosomes, establishing a robust theoretical foundation for non‐invasive clinical diagnostics.
