Scour Development Around Bucket Foundations
A wind turbine foundation design without scour protection, especially for wind turbines in the North Sea, is a sensitive topic for most offshore developers. However, recent research shows that this concept is realistic if there is extended comprehension of the scour and backfill phenomena.

Bearing Characteristics of Tripod Bucket Foundation under Horizontal and Moment Load in Sand
Based on a series of physical model tests and numerical simulations, the bearing characteristics of a tripod-bucket foundation are investigated. It is found that with the decrease in aspect ratio (L/D), the rotation center of the foundation will decrease,

Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) pathogenesis remains unclear. This study reveals that thymus‐originated IL‐7R‐enriched extracellular vesicles exacerbate colitis by promoting neutrophil extracellular traps via a thymus‐gut axis, uncovering an inter‐organ communication mechanism in inflammatory bowel disease pathogenesis.

Since concrete is cheaper and more resistant to corrosion than steel, the wide-shallow concrete bucket foundation is being used extensively in ocean engineering. By adding the inner bucket and cruciform skirts, both the bearing capacity and rigidity of the wide-shallow concrete bucket foundation increase significantly. When compared to the hollow steel

A fully soft, self‐reconfigurable gripper inspired by rapeseed flowers is monolithically 3D‐printed and electronics‐free, switching between diagonal and parallel finger arrangements. Establishing a self‐reconfigurable grasping paradigm, the gripper enables diverse manipulation tasks, including rotating bulbs, picking fruits, grasping cross‐scale ...
