IMPDH inhibition enhances cytarabine efficacy in SAMHD1‐expressing leukaemia cells via guanine nucleotide depletion

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

Hubungan Kondisi Lingkungan Fisik dan Tindakan PSN Masyarakat Dengan Container Index Jentik Ae. aegypti di Wilayah Buffer Bandara Temindung Samarinda

open access: yes, 2016
The high dengue cases in Indonesia is very closely linked to environmental conditions. There are still many people who do not understand the environmental conditions that can lead to the spread of dengue disease.

Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Buffer Index Effects on Hydraulic Conductivity Measurements Using Numerical Simulations of Double-Ring Infiltration

open access: yes, 2010
The double-ring infiltrometer is widely used to measure soil saturated hydraulic conductivity in the field. Both the inner ring size and outer ring size (two factors in the buffer index) of an infiltrometer affect the measurements of saturated hydraulic ...

Modeling transmission light in photonic band gap of one-dimensional photonic-plasmonic crystals with buffer layer

open access: yes, 2020
© Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd. The optical transmission wasn't researched completely for the hybrid plasmonic-photonic crystal with buffer dielectric layer between photonic crystal (PC) and layer of gold. In this article we consider the

Dual PI3K/AKT and CDK4/6 inhibition reveals selective sensitivity in an SHH medulloblastoma stem cell model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Targeted therapy was evaluated in SHH medulloblastoma using neuroepithelial stem cell (NES) and tumor‐derived NES‐like (tNES) models in 2D monolayers and 3D spheroids. PI3K, AKT, and CDK4/6 inhibitors had minimal effects in NES but markedly reduced viability and growth and induced apoptosis in tNES cells, revealing distinct therapeutic vulnerabilities.

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

On the Study for Taiwan's Business Comprehensive Index and Counter- Cyclical Capital Buffer

open access: yes, 2013
After the Global Financial Crisis, in order to stabilize the financial system, Basel III proposed countercyclical capital buffer, so that banks can provide enough liquidity to prevent themselves from a systemic crisis.

Buffer layer influence on guiding properties of oxidized porous silicon waveguides

open access: yes, 2003
We studied the influence of the thickness and porosity of the buffer layer on the guiding properties of oxidized porous silicon waveguides (OPSWG). It is demonstrated how a modified anodization process acts on the porosity of the final oxidized porous ...
