Bacteria‐Responsive Nanostructured Drug Delivery Systems for Targeted Antimicrobial Therapy
Bacteria‐responsive nanocarriers are designed to release antimicrobials only in the presence of infection‐specific cues. This selective activation ensures drug release precisely at the site of infection, avoiding premature or indiscriminate release, and enhancing efficacy.

Hydrogel Thermostat Inspired by Photoprotective Foliage Using Latent and Radiative Heat Control
Guided by Populus alba foliage, this hydrogel latent‐radiative thermostat (LRT) actively balances latent and radiative heat fluxes. An LRT switches solar reflectance, maintains high mid‐IR emissivity, and reversibly evaporates/regenerates water, while titanium oxide (TiO2) nanoparticles toughen the film.

Breaking the 2‐nm Barrier in Hard Disk Drives Using Monolayer Amorphous Carbon Overcoats
The rapid growth of AI has increased demand for large‐scale data storage, making HDDs indispensable in data centers. Increasing areal storage density is crucial, but limited by the traditional carbon overcoats (COC). Monolayer amorphous carbon (MAC) offers a superior alternative.

Building Envelope and Thermal Balance
From the thermal balance point of view, in addition to air mass transfer due to infiltration and ventilation, building energy performance strictly depends on the characteristics of the envelope, in that it constitutes the boundary between the indoor and outdoor environments.

Building services and the code for sustainable homes [PDF]
This paper investigates the design of space heating and ventilation to meet Code for Sustainable Homes (CSH) (CLG, 2008) targets for detached housing. The design of building services plant is radically affected by the requirements of the CSH.

A recombinant spider silk protein was functionalized by incorporating genetically encoded bio‐orthogonal reactive azido‐groups. The azido‐functionalized proteins were produced in a scalable biotechnological process, and particles, films, as well as nanofibers were established as anchorage for fully functional antibodies via site‐specific bio‐orthogonal
