Comment on "How many principles does it take to change a light bulb ... into a laser?" by Howard M. Wiseman, Physica Scripta 91 (3), 033001 (2016) [PDF]
In this comment on "How many principles does it take to change a light bulb ... into a laser?" by Howard M. Wiseman, Physica Scripta 91 (3), 033001 (2016) I am analyzing this extremely nicely formulated question in the framework of the Hanbury-Brown & Twiss experiment thus celebrating also its 60th anniversary.

By FBG sensing the Li/electrolyte interfacial stress in solid‐state battery, the Li metal anode failure reasons as dendrite‐induced uneven stress distribution at electrode/electrolyte interface are disclosed. A Li–Sn composite anode is demonstrated effective in stabilizing the interface mechanics and the solid‐state full cell performance at low stack ...

A concordance analogue of the $4$-dimensional light bulb theorem [PDF]
We prove a concordance analogue of Gabai's $4$-dimensional light bulb theorem. That is, we show that when $R$ and $R'$ are homotopically (smoothly) embedded $2$-spheres in a $4$-manifold $X^4$ where $\pi_1(X^4)$ has no $2$-torsion and one of $R$ or $R'$ has a transverse sphere, then $R$ and $R'$ are concordant.
