Primer implante de electrodo de estimulación selectiva del haz de His en Colombia: Reporte de dos casos First implantation of selective his bundle pacing in Colombia: Report of two cases

Concealed WPW Syndrome with Longitudinal Dissociation in the His Bundle Exhibiting Five Different Electrocardiographic Waveforms During Tachycardia

open access: yesJournal of Arrhythmia, 2005
We examined a patient with concealed WPW syndrome who exhibited five different electrocardiographic waveforms during tachycardia. With the intracardiac electrogram, all tachycardia were artrioventricular reciprocating tachycardia with retrograde ...

A methionine‐lined active site governs carbocation stabilization and product specificity in a bacterial terpene synthase

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These

Polarized Spinoptics and Symplectic Physics

open access: yes, 2013
We recall the groundwork of spinoptics based on the coadjoint orbits, of given color and spin, of the group of isometries of Euclidean three-space; this model has originally been put forward by Souriau in his treatise "Structure des Syst\'emes Dynamiques"

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Richard D. Dunphy: A Veteran’s Struggle Echoing into the Present

open access: yes, 2013
When I first received the bundle of Richard Dunphy’s pension documents, I was prepared to begin research on an obscure figure lost to time. To my great surprise, the very first search I performed resulted in a handful of genealogy websites, several ...

How To Do Things With Hohfeld [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Wesley Newcomb Hohfeld’s 1913 article, Fundamental Legal Conceptions as Applied in Judicial Reasoning, is widely viewed as brilliant. A thrilling read, it is not. More like chewing on sawdust.
