Abstract Arthroscopy‐assisted lower trapezius transfer is increasingly recognized as a standard approach for addressing irreparable posterosuperior rotator cuff tears. A posterior incision is made along the medial margin of the scapula to identify and dissect the lower trapezius.

Synovial Osteochondromatosis in the Subacromial Bursa. A Case Report.
We experinced a rare case of osteochondromatosis in the subacromial bursa. The patient was a 65-year-old man who complained of left shoulder pain, touchable mass lesion and slightly limited of range of shoulder motion. Roentgenograms and arthrography showed several calcified or ossified mass lesions in the extraarticular region.

Synovial Osteochondromatosis in the Subacromial Bursa: A Case Report
稀な肩峰下滑液包の滑膜骨軟骨腫症に対し,鏡視下手術が有用であった1例を経験したので報告する.症例は51歳,男性.平成17年6月より左肩痛,ひっかかり感が出現.平成18年1月,近医受診し保存療法を受けるも軽快せず,MRIにて異常を指摘され同年9月,当科紹介受診となった.単純X線像,MRIでは肩峰下滑液包内に2個の石灰化陰影を認めた.同年10月鏡視下摘出術を施行した.関節鏡所見は,肩甲上腕関節内に異常を認めず,肩峰下滑液包内に高度な滑膜増殖と白色の光沢を帯びた遊離体を2個認めた.鏡視下に滑膜切除および遊離体摘出を行なった.術後,左肩痛,ひっかかり感は軽快した.術後12ヶ月の時点で再発を認めなかった.
