Veterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 11, Issue 3, May 2025.Corn processed at 55°C when used in mash form finishing broilers diet, improved Ca utilisation and FCR and decreased the Clostridium count in ileal contents. The addition of exogenous enzyme to the mash diet containing conditioned corn at 70°C led to an improvement in FCR. The processing of corn improved the height of intestinal villi.

The Mira discovery problem -- Observations by David Fabricius in 1596 and 1609 (and by others before?): Positional accuracy, brightness, color index, and period [PDF]
Astronomical Notes 345, e20230131 (2024)The pulsating variable star Mira (omikron Ceti) was observed by David Fabricius (Frisia) in 1596 and 1609. We review suggested previous detections (e.g. China, Hipparchos). We analyze all Mira records from Fabricius in their historical context. Fabricius measured the separation of Mira to other stars to \pm 1.6-1.7'.

J.Phys.A40:14893-14926,2007, 2007 We extend our studies of the TQ equation introduced by Baxter in his 1972 solution of the 8 vertex model with parameter $\eta$ given by $2L\eta=2m_1K+im_2K'$ from $m_2=0$ to the more general case of complex $\eta.$ We find that there are several different cases depending on the parity of $m_1$ and $m_2$.

Veterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 11, Issue 2, March 2025.The current study aimed to compare three levels of zinc (40, 80 and 110 mg/kg of diets) as either ZnOHCl or ZnONPs. It is shown that ZnOHCl supplementation in broilers’ diets up to 110 mg was more efficient than ZnONPs in most responses relevant to immunology, growth performance and meat quality.
