The Future of Research in Cognitive Robotics: Foundation Models or Developmental Cognitive Models?
Research in cognitive robotics founded on principles of developmental psychology and enactive cognitive science would yield what we seek in autonomous robots: the ability to perceive its environment, learn from experience, anticipate the outcome of events, act to pursue goals, and adapt to changing circumstances without resorting to training with ...

This study reveals that Urolithin A (UA) counteracts alcohol‐induced cognitive and social dysfunction (AICSD) via a gut microbiome‐dependent mechanism. UA‐enriched Bacteroids sartorii and Parabacteroids distasonis elevate anandamide (AEA), which activates the CB1R‐DRD2‐Rap1 signaling cascade to drive synaptic repair and reduce neuroinflammation ...

By-catch of the shrimp fishery in India [PDF]
Every year as much as 21 million tonnes of edible marine fish are thrown away at sea by shrimp trawlers, which amounts to roughly the same quantity of fish eaten annually by the people of the developing countries in a world of increasing hunger we cannot

Exclusive breastfeeding establishes a thermogenic memory in brown adipose tissue by activating the HIF1AN/AMPK/α‐ketoglutarate axis via milk‐derived extracellular vesicles enriched in miR‐125a‐5p. This programming preserves metabolic health, while αKG supplementation restores BAT function under mixed feeding, offering strategies to mitigate the ...

By-catch and Discarding in Pelagic Trawl Fisheries
Incidental mammal catch and the composition of the fish catch were studied in pelagic trawl fisheries in the North-East Atlantic. Several seasonal European fisheries were investigated with scientific observation on the fishing vessels. A total of 379 days at sea were observed .
