C-Band Satellite Communications
30th AIAA International Communications Satellite System Conference (ICSSC), 2012Commercial satellite communications began in the early 1960s, building on C-band technologies developed in previous decades for point-to-point terrestrial microwave links. As the industry has grown, C-band usage in satellite communications has been augmented, but not replaced, by the usage of higher frequency bands.

Using Leishmans stain for C-banding, the authors indicate the use of this approach for identifying chromosome aberrations and clarifying taxonomic relationships and seek to apply them to resolve the origin and evolutionary history of V. faba. Chromosomes of six species of Vicia were examined including four accessions of V. faba.
