Additive Gaussian Process Regression for Predictive Design of High‐Performance, Printable Silicones

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A chemistry‐aware design framework for tuning printable polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) for vat photopolymerization (VPP) is developed using additive Gaussian process (GP) modeling. Polymer network mechanics informs variable groupings, feasible formulation constraints, and interaction variables.

Catalytic C-C coupling with mild hydrogenation

open access: yes
Catalytic C-C coupling with mild hydrogenation is tested and optimized to produce the stabilized EHL oil. The oxygen content should be less than 2%. The report will document the yield of the compounds in the fuel range for the catalyst defined in D5.1.

P450 in C–C coupling of cyclodipeptides with nucleobases

2023
Bacterial cytochrome P450 enzymes catalyze various and often intriguing tailoring reactions during the biosynthesis of natural products. In contrast to the majority of membrane-bound P450 enzymes from eukaryotes, bacterial P450 enzymes are soluble proteins and therefore represent excellent candidates for in vitro biochemical investigations.

C–C coupling formation using nitron complexes

Dalton Transactions, 2020
A series of RuII(1), RhIII(2), IrIII(3,4), IrI(5) and PdII(6–9) complexes of the ‘instant carbene’ nitron were prepared and characterized by1H- and13C-NMR, FT-IR and elemental analysis. They were used to form C–C coupling reactions.

Hydrogen Bonding Promotes Alcohol C–C Coupling

Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2022
Photocatalytic C-C bond formation coupled with H2 production provides a sustainable approach to producing carbon-chain-prolonged chemicals and hydrogen energy. However, the involved radical intermediates with open-shell electronic structures are highly reactive, experiencing predominant oxidative or reductive side reactions in semiconductors.
