Synthesis of the C1−C21 (C1‘-C21‘) Fragment of the Dimeric Polyketide Natural Product SCH 351448

Organic Letters, 2002
[structure: see text] A convergent, stereoselective assembly of the C1-C21 (C1'-C21') fragment of SCH 351448, a 28-membered bis-lactone natural product, has been developed. A highly efficient approach to this fragment assembles 75% of the carbon skeleton and all the stereochemical elements present in the natural product.

C21 steroidal glycosides from Hemidesmus indicus

Phytochemistry, 2000
Two novel pregnane glycosides, denicunine (1) and heminine (4), have been isolated from the dried stem of Hemidesmus indicus R.Br. (family: Asclepiadaceae). Chemical transformations and spectroscopic evidence viz: 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy and FABMS are consistent with the structures calogenin 3-O-3-O-methyl-beta-D-fucopyranosyl-(1-->4)-O-beta-D ...

Electronic spectra of long odd-number carbon chains C17–C21 and C13−–C21−

Chemical Physics Letters, 1999
Abstract Electronic transitions of the odd-number neutral and anionic carbon chains C2n+1 (n=8–10) and C2n+1− (n=6–10) have been observed in a neon matrix at 6 K after co-deposition with laser-vaporized graphite. The assignments are based on a comparison with the previously identified electronic transition of C7 to C15 and C5− to C11−, and the ...

C21-Steroide

1962
Aus peripherem menschlichem Blutplasma liesen sich bisher nachstehende C21-Steroide mittels organischer Losungsmittel extrahieren und ausreichend identifizieren : 4-Pregnen-11 β, 17 α, 21 -triol-3,20-dion (Cortisol) [173], 4-Pregnen-11 β, 21-diol-3,20-dion (Corticosteron) [102, 174], 4-Pregnen-11 β, 21-diol-3,20-dion-18-al (Aldosteron) [

Production of C21 steroids in rat fetal ovaries

Journal of Steroid Biochemistry, 1988
Female gonads of fetal and neonatal rats were cultured for 24 h in medium 199 supplemented with dibutyryl cyclic AMP (dcAMP), cycloheximide, spironolactone (an inhibitor of 17 alpha-hydroxylase) or hydroxylated cholesterol derivatives. Radioimmunoassays of pregnenolone (P5) and progesterone (P4) were performed in the media.

C21. Super Resolution Using Dictionary Technique

2013 30th National Radio Science Conference (NRSC), 2013
This paper addresses the problem of generating a super resolution (SR) image from a degraded input image, using a hybrid algorithm called Kernel-Local Learned Dictionary (K-LLD) to form dictionary from low resolution (LR) image to produce high resolution (HR) one, a patch-based, locally adaptive denoising method based on clustering the given degraded ...
