Referring to the developed and presented in previous publications (e.g. Barańska 2011) two-stage algorithm for real estate valuation, this article addresses the problem of the relationship between the two stages of the algorithm. An essential part of the

Uniform hypergraphs containing no grids [PDF]
A hypergraph is called an r×r grid if it is isomorphic to a pattern of r horizontal and r vertical lines, i.e.,a family of sets {A1, ..., Ar, B1, ..., Br} such that Ai∩Aj=Bi∩Bj=φ for 1 ...

Modelling CAR Export from Slovakia to the United Kingdom - Vector Error Correction Approach
The aim of the article is to identify determinants of export of road vehicles from Slovakia to the United Kingdom. The Error correction model is based on monthly data from January 2008 to November 2018. The modelling identifies short and long-run effects

Mucospheres produced by a mixotrophic protist impact ocean carbon cycling
Marine microbes govern ocean productivity and biogeochemistry, regulating global climate. Here the authors describe the sophisticated feeding strategy of a mixotrophic dinoflagellate and show how its behaviour impacts the vertical flux of carbon.

VERA monitoring of the radio jet 3C 84 during 2007--2013: detection of non-linear motion [PDF]
We present a kinematic study of the subparsec-scale radio jet of the radio galaxy 3C 84/NGC 1275 with the VLBI Exploration of Radio Astrometry (VERA) array at 22 GHz for 80 epochs from 2007 October to 2013 December.

AbstractIn this paper, we provide some characterizations of semisimple rings, right V-rings, right hereditary and regular right FGC-rings in terms of C3-modules. The notions of C3-envelope and C3-cover are introduced.

Revisiting the (E + A) ⊗ (e + a) problems of polyatomic systems with trigonal symmetry: general expansions of their vibronic Hamiltonians [PDF]
In this work, we derive general expansions in vibrational coordinates for the (E + A) ⊗ (e + a) vibronic Hamiltonians of molecules with one and only one C3 axis. We first derive the expansion for the lowest C3 symmetry.

Min-Max Predictive Control of a Five-Phase Induction Machine [PDF]
In this paper, a fuzzy-logic based operator is used instead of a traditional cost function for the predictive stator current control of a five-phase induction machine (IM).

A non-parametric model: free analysis of actigraphic recordings of acute insomnia patients
Both parametric and non-parametric approaches to time-series analysis have advantages and drawbacks. Parametric methods, although powerful and widely used, can yield inconsistent results due to the oversimplification of the observed phenomena.
