ES-C51: Expected Sarsa Based C51 Distributional Reinforcement Learning Algorithm

open access: yesCoRR
In most value-based reinforcement learning (RL) algorithms, the agent estimates only the expected reward for each action and selects the action with the highest reward. In contrast, Distributional Reinforcement Learning (DRL) estimates the entire probability distribution of possible rewards, providing richer information about uncertainty and ...

Dilithium Enediamide Derived From a 1,4‐Diaza‐1,3‐diene: Reactivity of a Strongly N‐Basic, Highly C‐Nucleophilic Compound Toward C–H Acids

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, EarlyView.
The lithium enediamide complex 2 with intrinsically inverted C–N bond polarity combines strong basicity with unusual reactivity: deprotonation of malonates enables C–C bond formation without electron transfer. Depending on malonate substitution, electrophilic substitution or addition occurs at the enediamide CC bond.

The Impact of the Training Set Size on the Classification of Real Estate with an Increased Fiscal Burden

open access: yesReal Estate Management and Valuation, 2019
The introduction of an ad valorem tax can lead to an increase in the tax burden on real estate. There are concerns that this increase will be large and widespread. Before undertaking any actual actions related to the real estate tax reform, pilot studies

Tumor‐Regional Immune Microenvironment: A Critical Factor in the Design of Radiotherapy–Immunotherapy Combination Trials

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Clinical trials combining radiotherapy (RT) with immune checkpoint blockade (ICB) have shown improved outcomes in only a fraction of patients, and optimal strategies for integrating these modalities remain under intense investigation. With a few exceptions, phase III combination trials have yielded disappointing results.

A Method for Constructing the C44−C51 Side Chain of Altohyrtin C

open access: yes, 2016
A method to construct the C44−C51 side chain of altohyrtin C has been developed and applied to a model aldehyde derived from d-glucose. The approach relies on a Wittig reaction to couple the side chain to an aldehyde and utilizes an allylic diazene ...

Integrating Knowledge Management Into ERP Selection: A Fuzzy Multi‐Criteria Decision‐Making Model Based on Gray Theory in the Automotive Industry

open access: yesKnowledge and Process Management, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems are integrated business management tools used by organizations to manage data and processes across various functions. While financial and technical considerations remain central to ERP selection, sustainable success also depends on the system's ability to support Knowledge Management (KM).

Microcin C51 Plasmid Genes: Possible Source of Horizontal Gene Transfer [PDF]

open access: yesAntimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy, 2003
ABSTRACT Microcin C51 (MccC51) is an antimicrobial nucleotide-heptapeptide produced by a natural Escherichia coli strain. A 5.7-kb fragment of the pC51 plasmid carrying the genes involved in MccC51 production, secretion, and self-immunity was sequenced, and the genes were characterized. The sequence of the

Retrospective evaluation of palliative care consultation in critically ill adult and pediatric cancer subjects

open access: yesPediatric Investigation, EarlyView.
Children with cancer received more palliative care consultation before, but fewer during, critical illness compared with adults. This disparity suggests underuse of palliative care during pediatric critical care. ABSTRACT Importance Palliative care consultation is an essential component of comprehensive care for patients with cancer during critical ...
