Cross-talk between CD38 and TTP Is Essential for Resolution of Inflammation during Microbial Sepsis
Summary: The resolution phase of acute inflammation is essential for tissue homeostasis, yet the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. We demonstrate that resolution of inflammation involves interactions between CD38 and tristetraprolin (TTP). During the

Enhancing Bubble Removal in Geometry‐Optimized Electrodes
3D‐printed lattice electrodes outperform stochastic foams in alkaline water electrolysis despite 20%–25% lower surface area. Straight flow channels generate Venturi‐like bubble entrainment, suppressing gas accumulation that renders foam interiors electrochemically inactive.

Elucidating the mechanisms of cooperative calcium-calmodulin interactions: a structural systems biology approach [PDF]
BACKGROUND: Calmodulin is an important multifunctional molecule that regulates the activities of a large number of proteins in the cell. Calcium binding induces conformational transitions in calmodulin that make it specifically active to particular ...

CALIX[4]ARENES С-715 AND С-772 AS INSTRUMENTS OF INFLUENCE ON Са2+-TRANSPORT AND BIOENERGETICS IN MYOMETRIAL MITOCHONDRIA [PDF]
Aim. The goal of work is to study the effects of calix[4]arenes C-715 and C-772 on Ca2+-transport, the electron transport chain activity, and the reactive oxygen species generation in the mitochondria of rat uterine smooth muscle. Methods. Measurement

A 3D anisotropic hydrogel derived from heart extracellular matrix guides cytoskeletal alignment and nuclear remodeling in reprogrammed cardiomyocyte‐like cells. This study reveals how matrix alignment modulates nuclear envelope dynamics and chromatin state, triggering transcriptional and functional maturation.

We present a tissue‐stimulator platform for seamless electrode integration with pancreatic tissue, applying uniform electrical stimulation through optimized design with biohybrid 3D printing. Advantageous effects of electrical stimulation on β‐cell function were observed, including enhanced calcium signaling, islet morphology, and maturation.
