CA-125 Concentrations in the Serum and Pregnancy Outcome in IVF Cycles [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Purpose: CA-125 has been proposed as a potential marker for endometrial receptivity in assisted reproduction. This study was designed to evaluate whether the levels of CA-125 in the serum of patients undergoing IVF-embryo transfer (ET) is correlated with

A light‐triggered Time‐Resolved X‐ray Solution Scattering (TR‐XSS) workflow with application to protein conformational dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

CA-19-9 as an Emerging Marker of Ovarian Tumour: A Rare Entity [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Clinical and Diagnostic Research, 2019
Tumour markers are widely used in clinical practice for diagnosis; follow-up, prognosis and to predict recurrence of certain malignancies. Markers for ovarian cancer include CA-125 antigen, CA-15-3 antigen, and Carcino-Embryonic Antigen (CEA).

Screening and epitope characterization of Nidogen‐2‐specific nanobodies

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Camel immunization and phage display were employed to generate high‐affinity VHH nanobodies against Nidogen‐2. After library construction, biopanning, ELISA screening, sequencing, and recombinant expression, selected nanobodies were purified and characterized, leading to the preliminary exploration of a nanobody‐based sandwich ELISA for specific ...

Clinical Presentation of Pelvic Tuberculosis Imitating Ovarian Malignancy

open access: yesTaiwanese Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology, 2004
Objective: Pelvic tuberculosis is rare, but is problematic for differential diagnosis. In this communication, we report a case series of pelvic tuberculosis clinically presenting as ovarian malignancy. Case Series: Over the past 10 years in our hospital,

MiR‐513a promotes human erythroid differentiation by modulating c‐Jun

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
During early human erythropoiesis, miR‐513a promoted erythroid differentiation in primary human CD34+ hematopoietic stem‐progenitor cells and human TF‐1 erythroleukemic cells by indirectly decreasing c‐Jun and phospho‐c‐Jun expression, which are associated with increased GATA1 expression.

Ovarian fibroma: An unusual morphological presentation with elevated CA-125

open access: yesIndian Journal of Pathology and Microbiology, 2008
This paper reports a case of a 42 year old female patient who presented with a large multi septate, predominantly cystic ovarian mass with elevated CA-125 levels. A diagnosis of malignant ovarian tumour was made on grounds of pre operative investigations

Peran Serum IL-6 dan CA-125 Prabedah sebagai Prediktor Resektabilitas Tumor pada Kanker Ovarium Tipe Epitel [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
