Caddo Ceramic Vessels from the S. E. Watson (41RR8) and Hook’s Ferry (41RR9) Sites, Red River County, Texas [PDF]
There are 15 ancestral Caddo ceramic vessels from the S. E. Watson (n=13) and Hook’s Ferry (n=2) sites in the collections of the Texas Archeological Research Laboratory at The University of Texas at Austin. The S. E.

This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Background — C-reactive protein (CRP) and cancer antigen 15-3 (CA 15-3) are commonly studied biomarkers in breast cancer, but their prognostic significance at diagnosis remains unclear. Aim: Our study aimed to assess the prognostic value of serum CRP and

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Effect of Ethanol Extract of Oryza Sativa L. Indica on Protein Kinase B Activity and CA 15-3 Serum Level in in Female Sprague Dawley Rats [PDF]
Oryza sativa L. indica or black rice is a food containing high level of polyphenol and anthocyanin that has potency as anticancer and prevent resistance of doxorubicin therapy as a result of phosphatydil-inositol-3-kinase (PI3K) hyperactivation.
