Fluctuations in CA 125 and CA 15 3 serum concentrations during spontaneous ovulatory cycles [PDF]

open access: yesHuman Reproduction, 1999
The aim of this study was to investigate cycle dependent changes of serum CA 125 and CA 15-3 concentrations during spontaneous ovulatory cycles. Twenty apparently healthy women with spontaneous menstrual cycles attending our infertility clinic were included. Of these women, 18 had occluded tubes as a result of sterilization.

Light Quark Mass Effects in Bottom Quark Mass Determinations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
Recent results for charm quark mass effects in perturbative bottom quark mass determinations from $\Upsilon$ mesons are reviewed. The connection between the behavior of light quark mass corrections and the infrared sensitivity of some bottom quark mass ...

Sensitivity and Specificity of CA 15-3 in Detection of Breast Cancer Recurrence [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Kerman University of Medical Sciences, 2005
Background: The value of CA15-3(cancer antigen 15-3) marker in early detection of breast cancer recurrence has been studied in several prospective trials. But the results of these studies are different.

PAX5α and PAX5β mRNA expression in breast Cancer: Relation to serum P53 and MMP2

open access: yesEgyptian Journal of Medical Human Genetics, 2017
Background: Many studies evaluated the role of paired box gene 5 (PAX5) in breast cancer. However, few investigated PAX5α and PAX5β isoforms individually. Objective: The aim of the present study is to evaluate mRNA expression of PAX5α and PAX5β in breast

Multicenter evaluation of the Abbott IMx CA 15-3 assay [PDF]

open access: yesClinical Chemistry, 1996
Abstract We describe a new fully automated procedure for the quantitative measurement of CA 15-3: the microparticle enzyme immunoassay (MEIA) technology developed by Abbott Labs. for the IMx automated immunoassay analyzer. The new IMx CA 15-3 test uses two mouse monoclonal antibodies, 115D8 and DF3.

Circulating CA 15-3 antigen levels in non-mammary malignancies [PDF]

open access: yesBritish Journal of Cancer, 1989
Abnormal CA 15-3 antigen levels are found in the serum of most patients with advanced breast carcinoma. Elevations of this marker are less frequently seen in other malignancies. Circulating CA 15-3 levels might be useful in the differential diagnosis of the primary site of cancer.

Can spicules be detected at disc centre in broad-band Ca II H filter imaging data ?

open access: yes, 2013
We estimate the formation height range contributing to broad-band and narrow-band filter imaging data in Ca II H to investigate whether spicules can be detected in such observations at the centre of the solar disc. We apply spectral filters of FWHMs from
