Outline of a Washing Treatment to Improve Electric Arc Furnace Slag Environmental Behavior
This study evaluates a water‐washing treatment for electric arc furnace slag to reduce the leaching of hazardous elements (Cr, Ba, Mo, and V), enabling its reuse. The process effectively decreases leachate concentrations. Using the treated slag as a substitute aggregate in concrete reduces greenhouse gases emissions by 42.5% compared to landfilling ...

High‐Yield Assembly of Plasmon‐Coupled Nanodiamonds Using DNA Origami for Tuned Emission
Engineering assemblies of single‐photon emitters and plasmonic elements with nanometer precision opens pathways for quantum sensing and photonics applications. A surface functionalization strategy is established for grafting DNA onto nanodiamonds, and their placement on DNA origami is optimized to achieve yields above 50%.

Li6−xFe1−xAlxCl8 Solid Electrolytes for Cost‐Effective All‐Solid‐State LiFePO4 Batteries
A new cost‐effective Li5.5Fe0.5Al0.5Cl8 solid electrolyte is presented. Upon the Al substitution to Li6FeCl8, its structure changed from the Suzuki‐phase to the spinel‐like phase while the 25°C ionic conductivity is increased from 3.1 × 10−6 to 3.9 ×10−5 S cm−1.

Enhancing printability of 3D printed concrete by using metakaolin and silica fume
Abstract This study investigates the effects of incorporating metakaolin (MK) and silica fume (SF) on the fresh and hardened properties of 3D printed concrete (3DPC). Five mix designs were prepared with MK replacement levels of 0%, 10%, 12.5%, and 15%, along with one mix containing 10% MK and 5% SF.
