Temperature Field Analysis on CA Mortar Ballastless Track of High-Speed Railway
Key Engineering Materials, 2012As an important cushion layer, CA mortar ballastless track is crucial to the durability, safety of high-speed railway and the high-speed railway is influenced by the external environment. The regulation of temperature field evolvement of ballastless track is analyzed in this paper through a two-dimensional, transient finite element model built by ANSYS.

Fatigue Behavior of CA Mortar in CRTS-I Ballastless Track under Train Load
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2013By means of the finite element (FE) method, the beam-shell model on elastic foundation of CRTS-I ballastless track was established. On the basis of Palmgren-Miner linear cumulative fatigue damage criterion, life cycle analysis method was used to analyze the CA mortar fatigue life under different train loads.

Effects of temperature and loading rate on the compressive behaviour of CA mortar
Magazine of Concrete Research, 2016The coupled effect of loading rate and temperature on the compressive behaviour of cement asphalt mortar (CA mortar) is investigated in this paper. The uniaxial compressive test is conducted with CA mortar subjected to three different temperatures from 5°C to 35°C and seven different loading rates in the range of 1–50 mm/min.

Criteria for repairing damages of CA mortar for prefabricated framework-type slab track
Construction and Building Materials, 2016Abstract Damage of bagged cement–emulsified asphalt (CA) mortar tends to create voids underneath the track slab and will reduce the carrying capacity of the track structure, which is contrary to its design purpose of providing a long-term, safe and reliable service.

Thermal analytical investigation of unaltered Ca(OH)2 in dated mortars and plasters
Thermochimica Acta, 1998Abstract The presence of unaltered relics of hydrates of calcium and magnesium in dated plasters and mortars are investigated by thermal analysis, X-ray powder diffraction, and by hydration of dated specimens after incremental heat treatment in a muffle furnace. The results are compared with the literature.

Study on Effect of Aluminum Powder in CA (Cement Asphalt) Mortar
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2014CA mortar is using the domestic with river sand as aggregate currently in China, we use sand to replace river sand as fine aggregate in CA mortar. The main purpose is test the influence of dosage on aluminum in the CA mortar. Experiments show that dosage should be the best aluminum from 0.01% to 0.015 %.

Abstract The macro-crack is wide-spread in concrete structure, especially the width >0.5 mm, which is hard to be sealed with its self-healing capacity. This research investigated the synergetic effect of superabsorbent polymer (SAP) and crystalline admixture (CA) for macro-crack closure in cement-based materials (CBM).

Studies on the Effects of Air Content on the Mechanical Properties of CA Mortar
Advanced Materials Research, 2014Mechanical properties of CA mortar with different air content were studied, and the size of the air bubbles was also analyzed. Results showed that the ductibility of CA mortar could be largely prolonged by the air bubbles. As the air content of CA mortar increased from 4.2% to 9.1%, the strain of the maximum stress increased from 1% to 2%.
