Chimeric Autoantibody Receptor- and/or Peptide-MHC-Based CAR Therapies for Targeted Elimination of Antigen-Specific B or T Cells in Hypersensitivity Disorders Such as Allergies and Autoimmune Diseases [PDF]

open access: yesCells
Hypersensitivity reactions are dysregulated and potentially devastating immune responses, characterized by a tendency to become chronic. They target either self-proteins or harmless foreign proteins and are driven by both T and B cells. Although numerous

Coronary artery aneurysms, insights from the international coronary artery aneurysm registry (CAAR) [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cardiology, 2020
Coronary Aneurysms are a focal dilatation of an artery segment >1.5-fold the normal size of adjacent segments. Although some series have suggested a prevalence of 0.3-12%, data are lacking. In addition, they are not mentioned in practice guidelines. Our aim was investigate its prevalence, management and long-term outcomes. The coronary artery aneurysm ...

Differential scattering study of asymptotically forbidden optical transitions in CaAr collisions

open access: yesChemical Physics Letters, 2003
Abstract We have investigated the laser excitation of CaAr collision pairs in a molecular beam experiment with differential detection. The metastable Ca(4s3d) 1 D state is populated by a collision-assisted transition. Measurements of differential cross-sections are reported showing interference structures.

Rationale and design of a multicenter, international and collaborative Coronary Artery Aneurysm Registry (CAAR)

open access: yesClinical Cardiology, 2017
Coronary artery aneurysm is defined as a coronary dilation that exceeds the diameter of adjacent segments or the diameter of the patient's largest normal coronary vessel by 1.5×. It is an uncommon disease that has been diagnosed with increasing frequency since the widespread appearance of coronary angiography.

Engineering chimeric autoantibody receptor T cells for targeted B cell depletion in multiple sclerosis model: An in-vitro study

open access: yesHeliyon, 2023
Background: Recent evidence suggests that B cells and autoantibodies have a substantial role in the pathogenesis of Multiple sclerosis. T cells could be engineered to express chimeric autoantibody receptors (CAARs), which have an epitope of autoantigens ...
