A Lightweight Caching Decision Strategy Based on Node Edge-Degree for Information Centric Networking
In-networkcaching as a core function in ICN can greatly improve the content distribution efficiency and reduce redundant network traffic. It is a challenge to design caching strategies in ICN to improve the performance of in-network caching.

Horizontal visibility, rather than concealment cover, drove fawn bedsite use and predation risk. Greater field of view decreased the odds of coyote predation, likely by facilitated by early detection. As fawns transitioned from hiders to followers, they shifted from using dense overstory concealment to more open overstory that favored improved escape ...

Intrinsically Design‐Rule‐Compliant Nanophotonic Inverse Design via Learned Generative Manifolds
A generative reparameterization framework for nanophotonic inverse design is introduced, restricting optimization to a learned manifold of design‐rule‐compliant geometries. Unlike conventional penalty‐based approaches, fabrication constraints are encoded intrinsically within the design representation.

Design and Evaluation of Probabilistic Caching in Information-Centric Networking
In-network caching is a key feature of information-centric networking (ICN). However, challenges still exist in ICN caching such as how to place content replicas among cache nodes to maximize cache system benefits without introducing too much overhead ...

ABSTRACT Purpose To investigate the feasibility of zero‐shot self‐supervised learning reconstruction for reducing breath‐hold times in magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP). Methods Breath‐hold MRCP was acquired from 11 healthy volunteers on 3T scanners using an incoherent k‐space sampling pattern, leading to a 14‐s acquisition time and an

Caching-at-STARS: The Next Generation Edge Caching
A simultaneously transmitting and reflecting surface (STARS) enabled edge caching system is proposed for reducing backhaul traffic and ensuring the quality of service. A novel Caching-at-STARS structure, where a dedicated smart controller and cache memory are installed at the STARS, is proposed to satisfy user demands with fewer hops and desired ...

Population recovery of an endangered macaw enhances long‐distance seed dispersal via stomatochory
Seed dispersal by large, mobile vertebrates plays a key role in shaping plant spatial dynamics and community structure. However, how variation in animal population size influences the magnitude and spatial scale of seed dispersal remains poorly understood.
