Connected and Autonomous Electric Vehicles (CAEVs)

IT Professional, 2018
The powerful capabilities of connected and autonomous electric vehicles will make them a popular provider of a wide range of services, including mobility, sensing, computing, traffic control, and energy management. This paper uses a characterization of these services to devise a service management framework and pricing schemes.

Evaluation of ELISA for detection of antibodies to CAEV in milk

Veterinary Microbiology, 1994
Milk was found to be a suitable alternative specimen for the serological diagnosis of caprine arthritis-encephalitis virus (CAEV) using the ELISA. The relative sensitivity and specificity of testing individual milk samples as compared to individual sera was 96.4 and 97.3% respectively. The overall agreement between the testing of milk and sera was 96.9%

TNFα and GM-CSF-induced activation of the CAEV promoter is independent of AP-1

open access: yesVirology, 2006
Caprine arthritis encephalitis virus transcription is under the control of the viral promoter within the long terminal repeat. Previous studies with the closely related maedi visna lentivirus have indicated that viral transcription is dependent upon the AP-1 transcription factor.

Caprine arthritis-encephalitis lentivirus (CAEV) challenge of goats immunized with recombinant vaccinia virus expressing CAEV surface and transmembrane envelope glycoproteins

Veterinary Immunology and Immunopathology, 1994
This study evaluated infection and disease following caprine arthritis-encephalitis lentivirus (CAEV) challenge of goats with existent immune response to CAEV surface and transmembrane envelope glycoproteins. Six Saanen goats were vaccinated three times with recombinant vaccinia virus rWR63 expressing glycoproteins encoded by the CAEV-63 envelope gene.

Overview of herd and CAEV status in dwarf goats in South Tyrol, Italy [PDF]

open access: yesVeterinary Quarterly, 2007
The analysis of the electronic data processing proved that 323 dwarf goats older than 6 months from 165 farms were kept in 63 of the 116 communes of South Tyrol. The number of dwarf goats maintained ranged from 1 to 19 animals, the average farm size revealed to be of 2 dwarf goats/farm.

Influence of storage and heating on sera in detection of CAEV antibodies

Small Ruminant Research, 1998
Abstract The present study shows that the conditions of storage of blood samples and sera have an influence on results obtained with an ELISA test performed to detect antibodies against caprine arthritis encephalitis virus (CAEV) in goats. A storage at room temperature for several weeks or a heating treatment of 56°C for an hour increases the level ...
