Energy‐Efficient Fabrication of Biomimetic Materials for Sustainable Infrastructure Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Inspired by nacre's “brick‐and‐mortar” structure, this work develops an energy‐efficient approach that utilizes ice‐templating technology as the structure framework and carbon mineralization for rapid CaCO3 production, resulting in a strong yet tough carbon mineralized material (CMM) under mild conditions while also fixing CO2.

Bioinspired Claw‐Engaged Adhesive Microparticles Armed with γGC Alleviate Ulcerative Colitis via Targeted Suppression of Macrophage Ferroptosis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
γGC deficiency in ulcerative colitis drives macrophage ferroptosis‐mediated inflammation. Claw‐engaged microparticles armed with γGC (γGC‐MPs) enhance lesion targeting, promoting localized γGC release and tissue uptake. On the cover, Monkey King (Macrophages) was bound by the Immortal‐Binding Rope and subsequently sealed beneath the Five‐Fingered ...

Cu‒S Covalent Bonds Enable the Anchoring of Single‐atom Cu on Layered MoS2 for Highly Selective and Active Photothermal Catalytic Conversion of CO2−H2O to Ethanol

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Cu5%‐MoS2 with dual Cu and Mo active sites enables efficient photothermal synergistic catalysis of the CO2–H2O system for ethanol production. The catalyst achieves a high ethanol yield of 3.1 mmol·g−1·h−1 with 88.35% selectivity, showcasing exceptional performance and selectivity under mild conditions. Abstract The catalytic conversion of CO2 into high‐

Embedding Monodisperse LaOx Into Pt Nanoclusters for Ultra‐Stable and Efficient Hydrogen Isotope Oxidation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The introduction of isolated LaOx species into Pt nanoclusters confined within the silicalite‐1 zeolite significantly enhanced the oxidative removal of hydrogen isotopes. Under reaction conditions of 50 °C and GHSV of 72,000 mL·g−1·h−1, the catalyst achieved an excellent H2 conversion efficiency of over 99%.
