Powder Technology, 1980Abstract Detailed investigations of the effect of physical, chemical and mineralogical changes in calcined phosphate rocks on its chemical reactivity were carried out. It was found that the presence of CaCO 3 and/ or CaO decreases the chemical reactivity of phosphates by consuming the active reagent in the reactivity test.
