Advanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.Vacuum investment casting enables manufacturing of compliant soft robotic structures out of AA7075 high‐strength aluminum alloy. Additively manufactured patterns are converted into metal soft robotic structures addressing long lasting challenges like durability and nonlinearity of elastomer‐based soft robotics.

The Crystalline State of Calcium Carbide
The Journal of the Society of Chemical Industry, Japan, 1960 炭化カルシウムの結晶状態を明らかにするために, 純度の高い結晶と, 市販品の2 種類について, 偏光顕微鏡とX 線回折装置の両者を使って調べた。工業用電気炉で冷却された純度の高い炭化物は2 種類の結晶形態を持っている。立方体ないしは直方体の形のものと, 柱状形とである。X 線回折の結果では前者はI,II,III型の結晶型の混じたもの,後者はI型のみからできていることが明らかとなった。いずれの形態も高温相から低温相への転移によってくり返し双晶をつくるが,立方体の場合は各劈開面については双晶線がほぼ直交し,CaC2Iでは(002)と(200),CaC2IIではd=2.95, 2.74Å,CaC2IIIはd=2.89Å の結晶面を含んでいる。柱状形の場合一つの柱面は立方体の劈開面同様(002)と(200 ...
