Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

The effect of hyperthermia on the phosphoinositide signalling system of tumour cells [PDF]
The effect of heat on the phosphoinositide signalling pathway was investigated in CHO-K1 cells and WRK-1 cells. Heat caused a decrease in 1,2-diacylglycerol (1,2- DAG) levels but did not have any effect on monoacylglycerol (MAG) levels in both cell types.

Early‐life exposure to a high‐fat diet altered intact Achilles tendons in rat offspring, making them thinner, stiffer, and molecularly distinct even without injury.
