Human Dental Pulp Stem Cell Secretome Restores Ischemic Stroke–Impaired Motor and Cognitive Functions by Reprogramming Redox and Inflammatory Signaling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Human dental pulp stem cell secretome emerges as a cell‐free therapeutic strategy for ischemic stroke by reprogramming redox and inflammatory signaling. hDPSC secretome‐derived antioxidant and immunomodulatory factors suppress the TLR4–NOX–ROS–NF‐κB axis, reduce microglial inflammatory responses and apoptosis, and promote neurogenesis, angiogenesis ...

Chromatin Packing Domain Engineering Through the Manipulation of Nuclear Cationic States

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Manipulation of intranuclear divalent cation concentrations rapidly and reversibly remodels chromatin packing domains in living cells. Magnesium depletion disrupts domain compaction, heterochromatin organization, and transcriptional regulation, whereas magnesium loading promotes more compact and stable domains.

Reorganization of Innate Immune Cell Lipid Profiles by Bioinspired Meroterpenoids to Limit Inflammation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Resolution pharmacology is an emerging strategy to tackle inflammatory pathologies. Bioinspired meroterpenoids induce a lipid mediator class switch toward inflammation resolution in vitro and in vivo by targeting key nodes in lipid mediator biosynthesis and neutral lipid dynamics.

STUDYING THE EFFECTS OF MOBILIZATION MESSAGES IN A STRATEGIC ENVIRONMENT: APPLYING THE RECEIVE-ACCEPT-SAMPLE (RAS) MODEL [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
The study of mobilization has presented scholars with an interesting puzzle as we attempt to identify who is responsive to mobilization messages. The framing of the debate by Kenneth M.

Extracellular ATP inhibits agonist-induced mobilization of internal calcium in human platelets [PDF]

open access: yes, 1995
Our previous studies have demonstrated that platelets possess ATP purinergic receptors in addition to the ADP, P2T, receptor. Occupancy of the P2 receptor by ATP inhibited agonist-induced platelet aggregation.

B Cells are Activated via a Nanoporous Interface that Stabilizes Microvilli and Engages Mechanosensitive Ion Channels

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
B cells can be activated independently of antigen recognition via mechanical stimulation through nanoporous substrates. Exposure to such substrates induced B cell microvilli extension into the pores, intracellular Ca2+ signaling, phosphorylation of signaling proteins, and CD69 expression.

Ion‐Driven Regulation of Ca2+ Flow by Ti/Zn Composite Activates ERK/MAPK Signaling and Maintains Mitochondrial Homeostasis to Promote Macrophage‐Mediated Bone Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A 3D‐printed interpenetrating Ti/Zn composite enables sustained Zn2+ release to regulate intracellular Ca2+ redistribution, preserve mitochondrial homeostasis, activate ERK/MAPK signaling, and promote M2 macrophage polarization, thereby enhancing osteoimmune‐mediated bone regeneration and peri‐implant osseointegration.

Ergosterol induces mobilization of internal calcium in tobacco cells

open access: yesPlant Protection Science, 2002
As for natural sterols, only ergosterol is recognized very specifically and sensitively (nM) by plants cells. Ergosterol interacts with tobacco suspension cells and trigger pH changes of extracellular medium, oxidative burst and synthesis of phytoalexins.

Single‐Cell Transcriptomics and Metabolomics Reveal Glutamate Dehydrogenase as a Central Regulator of Nitrogen Metabolic Remodeling During Alkalinity Adaptation in Crustaceans

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Single‐cell transcriptomics reveals the cellular response of Macrobrachium hainanense to carbonate alkalinity stress. Alkalinity stress impairs branchial ammonia excretion, induces mitochondrial dysfunction, and drives cell‐type‐specific changes in gills and hemocytes.
