We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Pengaruh Kadar Lempung dan Kadar Air pada Sisi Basah terhadap Nilai CBR pada Tanah Lempung Kepasiran (Sandy Clay) [PDF]
CBR (California Bearing Ratio) is one method for determining the bearing capacity of the subgrade . In highway planning , subgrade bearing capacity will affect the pavement thickness, the higher bearing capacity of subgrade makes the pavement thickness ...

PARP inhibitors are used to treat a small subset of prostate cancer patients. These studies reveal that PARP1 activity and expression are different between European American and African American prostate cancer tissue samples. Additionally, different PARP inhibitors cause unique and overlapping transcriptional changes, notably, p53 pathway upregulation.

An experimental study of the California bearing ratio of basalt fiber reinforced loess
In order to study the factors affecting the CBR value of the fiber-reinforced loess and the mechanism of the fiber-reinforced soil, chopped basalt fiber was used as the reinforcement material, and the CBR test was performed by changing the moisture ...

Rescue of splicing-mediated intron loss maximizes expression in lentiviral vectors containing the human ubiquitin C promoter. [PDF]
Lentiviral vectors almost universally use heterologous internal promoters to express transgenes. One of the most commonly used promoter fragments is a 1.2-kb sequence from the human ubiquitin C (UBC) gene, encompassing the promoter, some enhancers, first

The Impact of a Geogrid System on Load-Bearing Capacity of Natural Airfield Pavements [PDF]
Natural airfield pavements divide into soil and turf pavements. Turf pavement is a soil pavement covered with a developed grass layer that reduce soil moisture level, thus increasing its' resistance and extending exploitation period.
