Although COVID‐19 lockdowns have had some environmental benefits, the impact on the global economy has also led to conservation repercussions. In our study, we analyzed bioacoustic data from the canopy of the Pacific Forest of Ecuador to compare chainsaw activity before and after the start of COVID‐19 lockdowns.
