A complete blood count and blood chemistry revealed anemia and hypoproteinemia. Radiographs did not reveal bony involvement. The mass was resected and Pythium insidiosum was cultured.

The pathology and pathogensis of the disease are discussed. We believe this is the first report of phycomycosis in Camelidae.
