Essential Oil Composition of Campomanesia adamantium (Camb) O. Berg.

Essential oil isolated by hydrodistillation from leaves of Campomanesia adamantium (Camb.) O. Berg was analyzed by capillary GC and GC/MS. Fifty-five compounds, representing around 90% of the total oil, were identified. The main components were geraniol (18.1%), spathulenol (7.8%) and globulol (5.6%).
