The chemical composition and the in vitro synergistic antimicrobial effects of four Satureja essential oils were investigated. Essential oils from Satureja montana and S. hortensis displayed strong antimicrobial effects, whereas S. calamintha and S. alpina exhibited relatively weaker antimicrobial activity.

Conditional Copula Models for Right-Censored Clustered Event Time Data [PDF]
This paper proposes a modelling strategy to infer the impact of a covariate on the dependence structure of right-censored clustered event time data. The joint survival function of the event times is modelled using a parametric conditional copula whose parameter depends on a cluster-level covariate in a functional way. We use a local likelihood approach

Charting the landscape of the environmental exposome
We describe the biological and chemical components of the environmental exposomes in three major environmental matrices that are highly relevant to human and social‐economical health—air, soil, and water. We discuss how different exposome components can interact with each other. Finally, we propose a list of outstanding challenges to be tackled to push

Edge-magic labelings for constellations and armies of caterpillars [PDF]
Let $G=(V,E)$ be an $n$-vertex graph with $m$ edges. A function $f : V \cup E \rightarrow \{1, \ldots, n+m\}$ is an edge-magic labeling of $G$ if $f$ is bijective and, for some integer $k$, we have $f(u)+f(v)+f(uv) = k$ for every edge $uv \in E$. Furthermore, if $f(V) = \{1, \ldots, n\}$, then we say that $f$ is a super edge-magic labeling.
