Decreased DMI sensitivity of Plenodomus biglobosus (phoma of oilseed rape) associated with CYP51 substitution G476S

open access: yesPest Management Science, EarlyView.
Here, we report for the first time a target site mutation in the CYP51 gene of the oilseed rape phoma stem canker fungus Plenodomus biglobosus (Leptosphaeria biglobosa) that is associated with decreased sensitivity to sterol demethylation inhibitor fungicides.

Natural Products as Modulators of ABC Transporters in Breast Cancer

open access: yesPhytotherapy Research, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Breast cancer remains a significant global health challenge, with high incidence and mortality rates despite advancements in early detection and treatment. Multidrug resistance (MDR), particularly in aggressive subtypes like triple‐negative breast cancer (TNBC), continues to hinder effective therapy.

Salivary biomarkers in sleep‐related disorders

open access: yesSleep Research, EarlyView.
Abstract The exploration of salivary biomarkers has emerged as a promising avenue in the diagnosis and management of sleep‐related disorders, such as obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), insomnia, and sleep deprivation. Saliva is a noninvasive biofluid that contains a wealth of biological markers, reflecting both local and systemic physiological changes ...

Enhanced Biocatalysis in Nanofluidic Membrane Reactors With Goldilocks Nanopores for Enzymes

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
We show that enzyme confinement within the three‐dimensionally interconnected nanochannels of a polyurea molecular network membrane, featuring pore‐size tunability to match the enzyme size, enables a highly active nanofluidic reactor platform. Stable continuous‐flow operation for >200 h and a 30 000‐fold increase in specific space‐time yield over ...
