Trained Immunity in Childhood Vaccination
Trained immunity as an emerging concept in paediatric vaccinology. Trained immunity links vaccine stimuli through epigenetic and metabolic reprogramming to enhanced innate immune cell function, thereby strengthening protection against diverse pathogens while promoting adaptive immune responses through more efficient antigen presentation and co ...

From hepatic to hematopoietic: LRH‐1's expanding cellular repertoire to the immune system
The nuclear receptor LRH‐1 is a well‐characterized regulator of endodermal tissue. Yet, increasing evidence indicates that LRH‐1, although expressed at low levels, is also a critical regulator of the hematopoietic system. LRH‐1 regulates the immune system by contributing to immune cell‐specific functions.

Parasitoid wasps deploy maternal and embryonic factors to reprogramme host physiology. Venom, calyx fluid, polydnaviruses, teratocytes and larval secretions act in a coordinated, compartmentalised manner. Host‐regulation factors are promising sources of insecticidal, antimicrobial and bioinspired translational molecules.
