USP29‐regulated noncanonical stabilization of the hypoxia‐inducible factor‐α in aggressive prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

Canonical Correlations and Instrument Selection in Econometrics

open access: yes, 2005
This dissertation relates to three recent methods of instrument selection in econometrics, namely, the Canonical Correlations Information Criterion (CCIC), the Relevant Moments Selection Criterion (RMSC) and the approximate Mean Square Error Criterion ...

High-dimensional asymptotic expansions for the distributions of canonical correlations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
This paper examines asymptotic distributions of the canonical correlations between x1;q×1 and x2;p×1 with q≤p, based on a sample of size of N=n+1.

Assessment of genetic biodiversity and association of micronutrients and agronomic traits using microsatellites and staining methods which accelerates high-micronutrients variety selections within different wheat groups

open access: yesScientific Reports
Evaluation of genetic biodiversity for micronutrients is crucial for breeding high-quality crops and addressing the negative impacts of mineral deficiencies.

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

Canonical analysis based on scatter matrices. [PDF]

open access: yes
In this paper, the influence functions and limiting distributions of the canonical correlations and coefficients based on affine equivariant scatter matrices are developed for elliptically symmetric distributions.

Microcanonical windows on quantum operators [PDF]

open access: yesQuantum
We discuss the construction of a microcanonical projection WOW of a quantum operator O induced by an energy window filter W, its spectrum, and the retrieval of canonical many-time correlations from it.

Spatial and single‐nuclei transcriptomics reveals idiosyncratic and generic patterns in papillary and anaplastic thyroid cancers

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Matched spatial transcriptomics and single‐nuclei RNA‐seq were generated for anaplastic and BRAFV600E papillary thyroid cancers revealing generic and tumor‐specific states occurring in cancer cells and in the tumor microenvironment. In this context, cancer dedifferentiation mirrored organoid maturation through ordered thyroid marker gain/loss ...

Circulating microRNA signatures of cachexia and cancer in Canis familiaris as a comparative oncology model for human disease

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Circulating microRNAs as biomarkers of cachexia and sex‐specific cancer in senior dogs. In 25 client‐owned dogs, four circulating miRNAs (miR‐15a, miR‐15b, miR‐16, miR‐140) were downregulated in cachexia, with miR‐16 the strongest individual biomarker (AUC = 0.899).

Biplot and Singular Value Decomposition Macros for Excel© [PDF]

open access: yes
The biplot display is a graph of row and column markers obtained from data that forms a two-way table. The markers are calculated from the singular value decomposition of the data matrix.
