The dielectric studies on sol–gel routed molybdenum oxide thin film [PDF]
The influence of temperature on the dielectric properties of sol-gel routed spin-coated molybdenum trioxide (MoO3) thin film has been investigated. Prepared films were annealed at temperatures 250∘C, 350∘C and 400∘C.

Ion-liquid based super-capacitors with inner gate diode-like separators
We demonstrate that the capacitance of ionic-liquid filled supercapacitors is substantially increased by placing a diode-like structure on the separator membrane. We call the structured separator: gate, and demonstrate that the order of a p-n layout with

Statistics of Mesoscopic Fluctuations of Quantum Capacitance [PDF]
The Thouless formula \(G = (e^2/h)(E_c/\Delta)\) for the two-probe dc conductance $G$ of a d-dimensional mesoscopic cube is re-analysed to relate its quantum capacitance $C_Q$ to the reciprocal of the level spacing $\Delta$.

Investigation and Improvement of Test Methods for Capacitance and DCESR of EDLC Cells
The quick and accurate characterization of commercial electrochemical double-layer capacitor (EDLC) cells, especially their capacitance and direct-current equivalent series internal resistance (DCESR), is of great significance for the design, maintenance,

From compliance to moduli: clarifying basic mechanical properties of biological tissues
In physiology education, terms such as compliance, distensibility, capacitance, elastance, elasticity, etc. refer to the mechanical properties of biological tissues but are often a source of confusion in teaching and learning.

Capacitively-Loaded Feed Line to Improve mm-Wave and Sub-6 GHz Antenna Co-Existence
The co-existence of millimeter-wave (mm-wave) and sub-6GHz antennas in a smartphone presents many performance-limiting aspects. When both antennas are attached to the metal frame, the feed lines of the mm-wave antennas might short-circuit the sub-6GHz ...

Quantum capacitance and density of states of graphene
We report on measurements of the quantum capacitance in graphene as a function of charge carrier density. A resonant LC-circuit giving high sensitivity to small capacitance changes is employed. The density of states, which is directly proportional to the

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.
