Abstract 3923: Identification of membrane-expressed CAPRIN-1 as a novel and universal cancer target and generation of a therapeutic anti-CAPRIN-1 antibody TRK-950

Cancer Research, 2023
Specific targets for cancer treatment are highly desirable, but still remain to be discovered. While previous reports suggested that CAPRIN-1 localizes in the cytoplasm, here we now show that part of this molecule is strongly expressed on the cell ...

Caprine Encephalomyelomalacia

Veterinary Pathology, 1984
Six cases of encephalomyelomalacia in dairy goats 3½ to four months of age are described. Neurologic signs had an abrupt onset and passed rapidly from ataxia to paralysis. A randomized, multicenter, open-label, phase 2 study of TRK-950 in combination with ramucirumab and paclitaxel as second-line therapy in patients with CAPRIN-1 positive gastric or gastroesophageal junction (G/GEJ) adenocarcinoma.

Journal of Clinical Oncology
TPS420 Background: CAPRIN-1 is strongly expressed on the cell membrane of many cancer types including G/GEJ and on cancer stem cells. High expression is associated with enhanced in vitro colony-forming activity and in vivo tumorigenicity.

Caprine Brucellosis in Kenya

British Veterinary Journal, 1972
SUMMARY The isolation of three biotypes of Brucella melitensis from goats and sheep in Kenya is reported. In one instance, an outbreak of abortion in local and crossbred goats, all in kid to Saanen males from Israel, was associated with the isolation of Br. melitensis biotype 1. A small serum survey and other field evidence suggest that the disease
