Impact of Cooperative Systems on Drivers' Car-Following Behavior
In-vehicle technologies and co-operative services are designed to ultimately reduce congestion and increase traffic safety. This paper investigates the impact of an infrastructure-to-vehicle co-operative system on drivers’ car-following behavior.

An extended car following approach using agent based model on evacuation system of micro traffic [PDF]
We proposed an extended car-following approach on evacuation system of micro traffic. It is based on the agent model. Parameter which is owned by the agent is the velocity.

Social behavior following traumatic brain injury and its association with emotion recognition, understanding of intentions, and cognitive flexibility. [PDF]
Although the adverse consequences of changes in social behavior following traumatic brain injury (TBI) are well documented, relatively little is known about possible underlying neuropsychological deficits.

Obesity raises blood levels of PAI‐1, a protein linked to metabolic dysfunction‐associated steatotic liver disease in people with obesity. In female mice fed a high‐fat diet, partially lowering PAI‐1 led to smaller subcutaneous fat cells and lower liver cholesterol, without changing body weight or insulin sensitivity.

Car-following Behavior Model Learning Using Timed Automata [PDF]
Learning driving behavior is fundamental for autonomous vehicles to “understand” traffic situations. This paper proposes a novel method for learning a behavioral model of car-following using automata learning algorithms.

We investigate the dynamic performance of traffic flow using a modified optimal velocity car-following model. In the car-following scenarios, the following vehicle must continuously adjust the following distance to the preceding vehicle in real time.

The Shewanella oneidensis Fic enzyme SoFic targets the switch‐I region of EF‐Tu for AMPylation
Fic enzymes mediate diverse post‐translational modifications across all domains of life, including AMPylation. Prokaryotic EF‐Tu can be AMPylated and deAMPylated by the conserved Fic enzyme SoFic. Structural and biochemical approaches were used to characterize the effect of AMPylation on EF‐Tu, SoFic's enzymatic activities, and the enzyme‐target ...

Driving Simulator Validity of Driving Behavior in Work Zones
Driving simulation is an efficient, safe, and data-collection-friendly method to examine driving behavior in a controlled environment. However, the validity of a driving simulator is inconsistent when the type of the driving simulator or the driving ...

Performance of car following behaviour in microscopic traffic flow models [PDF]
Microscopic simulation models are becoming increasingly important tools in modelling transport systems. They are applied in simulation programs for transport planning, traffic forecasting and advanced vehicle control and safety systems (AVCSS).
