Comparative Proteomics of Salinity Stress Responses in Fish and Aquatic Invertebrates

open access: yesPROTEOMICS, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Fluctuating salinity is symptomatic of climate change challenging aquatic species. The melting of polar ice, rising sea levels, coastal surface and groundwater salinization, and increased evaporation in arid habitats alter salinity worldwide. Moreover, the frequency and intensity of extreme weather events such as rainstorms and floods increase,

Metal Catalyst‐Free and Recyclable Silicone Elastomer Achieved Through Curing of a Carbinol‐Functional Polydimethylsiloxane With a Polysilazane

open access: yesJournal of Polymer Science, EarlyView.
A metal catalyst‐free and recyclable silicone elastomer with silyl ether crosslinks is achieved by curing a carbinol‐functional polydimethylsiloxane with polysilazane. Polymers chemically similar to the starting polymers can be reclaimed after immersing the elastomer in a solution of acetic acid and tetrahydrofuran.

A Critical Review of Limitations and Challenges in Advancement of HNF as a Green Oxidizer for Composite Solid Propellant Formulations

open access: yesPropellants, Explosives, Pyrotechnics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Hydrazinium nitroformate (HNF) is a chlorine‐free, high‐energy oxidizer with promising applications in green propulsion systems. This review examines the thermal decomposition, combustion kinetics, flame structure, and behavior of HNF, while critically evaluating the current body of literature.

Nrf2‐Mediated Ferroptosis Is Involved in Berberine‐Induced Alleviation of Diabetic Kidney Disease

open access: yesPhytotherapy Research, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Diabetic kidney disease (DKD) is the most common and serious complication of diabetes mellitus. Currently, there is a lack of safe and effective preventive strategies for DKD. The study aimed to explore the preventive effects and potential mechanisms of berberine (BBR) against DKD.
