5,7‐Membered Cyclometallated Gold(III) Complexes with Pyridine‐Phenyl‐Oxazoline N^C^N Ligands as Catalysts for Organic Transformation Reactions Under Silver‐Free Conditions

open access: yesAdvanced Synthesis &Catalysis, EarlyView.
A series of 5,7‐membered cyclometallated gold(III) complexes with N^C^N tridentate ligands are prepared via transmetalation of pyridine‐phenyl‐oxazoline ligand‐containing organomercury compounds with potassium gold(III) chloride (KAuCl4) for catalysis.

Insect‐Microbe‐Based Laccase: Untapped Natural Resource for Industrial and Biotechnological Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Sustainable Systems, EarlyView.
The insect‐microbe interplay fulfills a key ecological role involving the degradation of ligninocellulose biomass. This is coordinated by the secretion of different kinds of proteins, of which ligninolytic enzymes, such as laccases (Lacs), are of prime importance.

Mechanical Interactions Impact the Functions of Immune Cells and Their Application in Immunoengineering

open access: yesAdvanced Therapeutics, EarlyView.
This review covers the mechanical forces experienced by immune cells through cell–cell and cell–extracellular matrix interactions and how these forces influence their receptors and functions. These relationships between forces and cellular functions can be exploited using engineering techniques to modify the physical properties of materials for novel ...

ST6GAL1‐Mediated Sialylation Stabilizes PD‐L1 and Drives Immunosuppressive Tumor Microenvironment in Colorectal Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ST6GAL1 plays a critical role in tumor progression and immune regulation in colorectal cancer (CRC). Its depletion significantly suppresses the malignant phenotype of CRC cells and enhances the efficacy of anti‐PD‐L1 therapy. High ST6GAL1 expression promotes an immune‐activated tumor microenvironment (TME), characterized by increased infiltration of ...
