Advancing Fruit Bioimpedance Monitoring With Sustainable, Soft, And Bio‐Based Electrodes Beyond ECG

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Electrical impedance spectroscopy enables non‐destructive fruit quality monitoring, but conventional ECG and needle electrodes compromise signal stability, fruit physiology, and sustainability. This perspective highlights the transition toward soft, biocompatible, and biodegradable electrode interfaces based on natural substrates, bio‐derived ...

Coarsening‐Resistant Ag Sinter Composites: Mechanistic Insights From Different Ag–Additive Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
An Ag–WC sintered composite exhibiting superior resistance to thermal coarsening. Different particle‐reinforced Ag sinter composites showed markedly different microstructural responses to thermal aging. The comparison revealed that robust Ag–additive interfaces maintain grain‐boundary pinning, whereas insufficient interfacial stability results in the ...

Eco‐Friendly Laser‐Induced Graphene/Perovskite Hybrids for Eco‐Friendly Photodetectors

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
A sustainable paper‐based photodetector was developed by combining laser‐induced graphene (LIG) with MAPbI3 perovskite. Compared with pure LIG devices, the hybrid photodetector exhibited nearly 10‐fold higher responsivity and 7‐fold greater detectivity while maintaining stable performance after 1000 bending cycles, demonstrating its potential for ...

Proton Irradiation Tolerance of Fully Printed Self‐Powered Carbon‐Electrode Perovskite Photodetectors

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Proton irradiation effects on fully printed carbon‐electrode perovskite photodiodes are systematically examined. Devices exposed to 0.5 MeV protons retain structural integrity while exhibiting defect‐induced changes in local coordination and recombination dynamics.

Stretchable Energy Storage with Eutectic Gallium Indium Alloy

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, Volume 15, Issue 11, March 18, 2025.
A highly stretchable liquid metal‐based electrode is developed via a one‐step process, retaining conductivity and capacitance after mechanical deformation up to 900% strain. The stretchable all‐solid‐state device provides a areal energy density of 43 µWh cm⁻2 after 150% strain.
