Studies on Adsorption of Triton X-100 at Carbon Paste and Ceresin Wax Carbon Paste Electrodes and the Enhancement Effect in Dopamine Oxidation by Cyclic Voltammetry

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electrochemical Science, 2007
The adsorption of Triton X-100 (TX-100) on a carbon paste electrode was investigated by voltammetry. The results showed that TX-100 exhibited two types of adsorptive behavior at a carbon paste electrode at different concentration ranges: monomer ...

Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.

Two fabricated carbon paste electrodes for novel potentiometric determination of probenecid in dosage form and human plasma

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2022
Solid contact ion selective electrodes are extensively utilized owing to their marvelous performance over traditional liquid contact ones. The main drawback of those solid contact electrodes is aqueous layer formation which affects their constancy ...

MOFs and COFs in Electronics: Bridging the Gap between Intrinsic Properties and Measured Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) and covalent organic frameworks (COFs) hold promise for advanced electronics. However, discrepancies in reported electrical conductivities highlight the importance of measurement methodologies. This review explores intrinsic charge transport mechanisms and extrinsic factors influencing performance, and critically ...

Formation of Stable Amorphous Calcium Phosphate and Collagen Assemblies by a Versatile Spray‐Drying Approach

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Amorphous calcium phosphate (ACP) microparticles with long‐term and thermal stability are prepared with or without collagen using a scalable one‐pot spray‐drying process. Under simulated physiological conditions, they crystallize into biomimetic bone mineral and, when combined with collagen, form extrudable, fibrillar bone‐like 3D constructs.
