Electroanalysis, 2004
AbstractA new carbon electrode material, obtained by mixing single wall carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) with a mineral oil binder is studied. Carbon nanotube pastes show the special properties of carbon nanotubes combined with the various advantages of composite electrodes such as a very low capacitance (background current) and the possibility of an easy ...

Carbon Nanotube Purification: Preparation and Characterization of Carbon Nanotube Paste Electrodes
Analytical Chemistry, 2003Paste electrodes have been constructed using single-wall carbon nanotubes mixed with mineral oil. The electrochemical behavior of such electrodes prepared with different percentages of carbon nanotubes has been compared with that of graphite paste electrodes and evaluated with respect to the electrochemistry of ferricyanide with cyclic voltammetry ...

Chemically modified carbon paste and carbon composite electrodes
Electroanalysis, 1989AbstractCarbon paste electrodes and composite carbon electrodes modified by 20% silica gel (30 μm) within the electrode material exhibit many properties typical of a strand of carbon fiber microelectrodes in voltammetric measurements. Charged and uncharged species were studied on these electrodes; phenol, ferricyanide, and potassium ethylxanthogenate ...

Adsorptive stripping behaviour of mitoxantrone on carbon paste electrodes
Talanta, 1993The electrooxidation of mitoxantrone (MXT) on carbon paste electrodes was studied using voltammetric techniques in adsorption conditions. The analyte was accumulated at the working electrode (a carbon paste electrode) under precisely controlled mass-transport conditions and stripped electrochemically in the same solution.

Voltammetric determination of pyridoxine by use of a carbon paste electrode
The Analyst, 1975The oxidation of pyridoxine and related compounds in ammonia buffer solutions is described and a fast and simple method for the determination of pyridoxine in pharmaceutical preparations is given. The only interferences are from ascorbic acid and iron(II), both of which can be removed by ion-exchange chromatography.
