New knowledge of hydrocarbon generating theory of organic matter in Chinese marine carbonates
The marine carbonates of the Tarim Basin are taken to study the relationship between source rock and oil and gas reservoirs and discuss the possibility and mechanisms of mature and low-TOC (less than 0.5%) marine carbonates being source rock. By studying

Ferroelectric Quantum Dots for Retinomorphic In‐Sensor Computing
This work has provided a protocol for fabricating retinomorphic phototransistors by integrating ferroelectric ligands with quantum dots. The resulting device combines ferroelectricity, optical responsiveness, and low‐power operation to enable adaptive signal amplification and high recognition accuracy under low‐light conditions, while supporting ...

Discussion on the formulas used to calculate the dissolution rate by the rock tablet method
The dissolution rate of carbonate rocks is an important parameter for investigating the karst carbon cycle and evaluating the carbon sink effect; as well as a key indicator for studying karst development and karst hydrogeological problems.

Establishing Atomic Coherence in Twisted Oxide Membranes Containing Volatile Elements
Twisted oxide membranes containing volatile elements often suffer from amorphous interfacial dead layers that suppress coupling. An oxygen‐annealing strategy establishes atomically coherent and chemically bonded interfaces in twisted NaNbO3 membranes, enabling coherent oxide moiré architectures in volatile‐element‐containing systems.

Survey of the diagenesis process and effect these process on reservoir quality of the Kangan formation in South Pars Field [PDF]
Kangan and Upper Dalan formations are forming reservoir sequence of the South Pars field. Litology of the kangan formation is carbonate and (limestone and dolomite with anhydrite intervals), so digenetic processes were very active in this formation and ...

SAG foam flooding in carbonate rocks
Abstract Foam is used in gas-injection EOR processes to reduce the mobility of gas, resulting in greater volumetric sweep. SAG (Surfactant Alternating Gas) is a preferred method of injection as it results in greater injectivity in the field, but designing a successful process requires knowledge of foaming performance at very high foam qualities (gas ...
