Altered Nasal Microbiota in Sinonasal Tumors: A Comparative Analysis of Malignant and Benign Sinonasal Tumors

open access: yesInternational Forum of Allergy &Rhinology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Although shifts in nasal microbiota have been well‐documented in inflammatory upper airway conditions, microbiota tumor‐associated alterations remain uncharacterized. This study is the first to compare sinonasal microbiota profiles of patients with malignant tumors (MT), benign tumors (BT), and controls, offering insights into tumor‐

Review on mechanisms and therapeutic advances in inorganic arsenic-induced reproductive system disorders

open access: yesAll Life
Inorganic arsenic (iAs), a toxic metalloid and recognized carcinogen, is widely distributed in the natural environment. Human exposure to iAs occurs via multiple pathways, leading to its accumulation and adverse effects on the human body.

Embedding Chemistry and Pharmacy Into Sustainability

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, EarlyView.
Chemistry and pharmacy provide products and processes that are indispensable for our high living standard. To understand their relationship with sustainability is important to allow them to contribute to sustainability in a sustainable manner. An integrated overview of green, circular, and sustainable chemistry and pharmacy is given and how they have t

Green Fuel Combustion Synthesis of CeO2 and Ag/CeO2 Nanoparticles for Photocatalytic and Antibacterial Applications

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Silver‐doped cerium oxide nanoparticles (Ag/CeO2 NPs) were synthesized using Ricinus communis seed extract as a bio‐derived fuel in a solution combustion method. The combustion reaction, carried out at 450°C with AgNO3 and (NH4)2[Ce (NO3)6] as metal precursors, produced CeO2 and Ag/CeO2 NPs.

In vitro carcinogen-protein complex formation

open access: yes, 1955
Attempts have been made to form "in vitro" carcinogen-protein and carcinogen-amino acid complexes by various oxidative processes. Irradiation, chemical oxidation, and a combination of the two have proved unsuccessful.
