Lobular Carcinoma “in Situ” (Lobular Neoplasia)
1986Lobular carcinoma “in situ” or lobular neoplasia (Haagensen et al., 1978) is a non-palpable tumor which can only be diagnosed under the microscope (fig. 1 and 2). The Florid Subtype of Lobular Carcinoma In Situ: Marker or Precursor for Invasive Lobular Carcinoma?
Annals of Surgical Oncology, 2011Lobular carcinoma in situ (LCIS) is considered a risk factor-not a precursor-for both invasive lobular and ductal carcinoma. Florid LCIS (F-LCIS) is an architectural subtype of LCIS that does not express E-cadherin, yet has the histologic and often radiographic appearance of solid-type ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS).

Lobular Neoplasia: Atypical Lobular Hyperplasia and Lobular Carcinoma In Situ

Coexistent lobular carcinoma in situ and intraductal carcinoma in a single lobular-duct unit
The American Journal of Surgical Pathology, 1980Current classifications of mammary carcinoma generally divide noninvasive disease into two seemingly distinct categories: in situ lobular carcinoma and intraductal carcinoma. The two are considered to be independent entities which may sometimes coexist separately in the same breast. Three cases illustrated in this report each had classical histological
