Optimizing cardio‐respiratory motion management in stereotactic arrhythmia radioablation through mid‐position planning target volume

Journal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics
Purpose/objective This study proposes an implementation of the mid‐position (MidP) approach to compensate for cardio‐respiratory motions in the context of Stereotactic Arrhythmia Radioablation (STAR) and evaluates its benefits compared to an internal ...

[Features of cardio-respiratory synchronization phenomenon in children with different types of the nervous system].

Zhurnal vysshei nervnoi deiatelnosti imeni I P Pavlova, 2003
Human breathing and cardiac rhythms become synchronized during voluntary respiration of a subject with the rate higher than the initial cardiac rate. This phenomenon is observed during driving of the breathing rhythm with rhythmical flashes of a photostimulator lamp.
