The present study shows that macrophage WEE1 drives NF‐κB activation and inflammatory atherosclerosis by directly phosphorylating p65 at S536. This finding illustrates a macrophage‐specific WEE1‐p65 axis in regulating inflammatory atherosclerosis and points out new directions to broaden the clinical applications for WEE1 inhibitors in atherosclerosis ...

Measuring brain beats: Cardiac‐aligned fast functional magnetic resonance imaging signals
Blood and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) pulse and flow throughout the brain, driven by the cardiac cycle. We use rapid functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) measurements to assess blood and CSF flow dynamics in a conventional 3 T magnetic resonance imaging scanner.

Clonal Hematopoiesis and Thrombosis
ABSTRACT Clonal hematopoiesis (CH) has been the focus of many research efforts in the last years and has emerged as a risk modifier for cardiovascular disease morbidity and mortality. While substantial evidence has accumulated regarding its impact on arterial system diseases, the connection with venous thrombosis has only recently been explored.
