Nonlinear effects on the carrier-envelope phase
Optics Letters, 2004Calculations, using the Maxwell equations, are presented of nonlinear effects on the carrier-envelope phase for pulse durations in the two-optical-cycle range for pulses propagating in sapphire. Initially, with increasing pulse intensity the carrier-envelope phase increases monotonically.

GPS carrier phase ambiguity fixing concepts
1998High precision relative GPS positioning is based on the very precise carrier phase measurements. A prerequisite for obtaining high precision relative positioning results is that the double-differenced carrier phase ambiguities become sufficiently separable from the baseline coordinates. Different approaches are in use and have been proposed to ensure a

Intelligent phase comparison carrier protection
6th International Conference on Developments in Power Systems Protection, 1997Conventional phase comparison carrier protection mainly consists of three units-starting unit, phase discriminator and trip relay. The phase discriminator is the brain of phase comparison protection. It compares the measured phase shift of the high-frequency carrier current signals /spl theta/ at the two ends of the protected transmission line with the

Determining Phase-Energy Coupling Coefficient in Carrier-envelope Phase Measurements
2007 Conference on Lasers and Electro-Optics (CLEO), 2007For f-to-2f interferometers based on white-light generation in sapphire plates, the accuracy of the carrier-envelope (CE) phase measurement and stabilization is affected by the laser energy fluctuation. The coupling coefficient between the CE phase and the laser energy has been determined by modulating the pulse energy in an in-loop f-to-2f ...

Nonlocal carrier’s double phase problem
Proceedings of the Royal Society of Edinburgh: Section A MathematicsWe study the existence and multiplicity of positive bounded solutions for a class of nonlocal, non-variational elliptic problems governed by a nonhomogeneous operator with unbalanced growth, specifically the double phase operator. To tackle these challenges, we employ a combination of analytical techniques, including the sub-super solution method ...

We present an improved digital phase generated carrier algorithm based on the synchronous carrier restoration (SCR) method to mitigate the carrier phase delay effect. The most distinguishing feature of this method is that it directly picks up the carrier signal information (frequency and phase) from the interference signal and synchronically ...

Carrier Phase Integer Ambiguity Resolution
2017Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS ) carrier-phase integer ambiguity resolution is the process of resolving the carrier-phase ambiguities as integers. It is the key to fast and high-precision GNSS parameter estimation and it applies to a great variety of GNSS models that are currently in use in navigation, surveying, geodesy and geophysics.

Carrier and symbol phase synchronizers
2012In this work, we will study the carrier phase Lock Loop (CPLL) when the input carrier changes its shape. The CPLL has four prototypes which are the analog, the hybrid, the combinational and the sequential. The input carrier can be a sinusoidal wave, a triangular wave or a rectangular wave.
